Welcome to ARC Community Church
The Church meets every Sunday Morning at Mere Green Community Centre and Library at 10:30am.
God has called us to build a vibrant, growing, biblically based church in Mere Green, which will, in a creative and contemporary way, in the power of the Holy Spirit, worship God and communicate the gospel with compassion and generosity.
We aim to make, train and equip disciples to be effective in extending God's Kingdom, to develop leaders, to plant new churches, and to contribute to the blessing of the whole Body of Christ.
How to Find Us
The community centre is in the middle of Sainsbury's car park with parking immediately in front of the building (free on Sundays).
Services
At ARC Community Church, we invite people to come to church as they are. Everyone is welcome, our style is informal, and dress is casual. Services begin with about thirty minutes of contemporary worship, followed by a welcome from the person leading, a message from the Bible and finally, the opportunity to receive prayer if you so desire.
Our services last a little over an hour and a half from the start of worship. If you have any questions while you're visiting, please ask someone. The person leading the service will always be happy to help.
If you are joining the church, one of the best ways to get involved is to join a team rota. The rotas are on a monthly basis so you'd only be expected to serve once a month. Please let us know if you'd like to get involved.
Children’s Work
We want to create an environment where children can form strong relationships both with their peers and members of the Children’s Work team. A place where they feel loved, accepted and believed in. We aim to lovingly disciple the kids and pray that they would grow in their walk with Jesus - loving Him with all their hearts and following him every day of their lives.
We believe that the kids are an essential part of our Church and therefore want them to be actively involved in all that we do - worship, reading the Bible, prayer, ministry, serving, giving and sharing God's heart for the poor and those that do not know Jesus. During our ministry times we want to encourage the children and their workers to meet with God, to listen and to respond to what He is saying through His Holy Spirit.
